The decision by the Malaysian authorities comes ahead of her official visit to the country scheduled for next week.
"Ahead of my official visit to Malaysia next week, I am deeply grateful to the Malaysian authorities for the decision to grant visa exemption for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for stays of up to 30 days. This important step, together with the upcoming opening of our embassy in Kuala Lumpur during my visit next week, is a clear sign that the ties between our two countries are getting stronger every day," Osmani said on the X social network.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gervala, also confirmed and welcomed this decision.
"With this decision, Malaysia joins the list of countries to which citizens of the Republic of Kosovo can travel without visas, which is a concrete confirmation of the progress of our country's international subjectivity and the strengthening of bilateral relations," Gervala wrote on Facebook, thanking Malaysian institutions for their continuous cooperation and support.
