On this occasion, the center was visited by representatives of the foundation and the club, among whom was the legendary footballer of Zvezda, Dragiša Binić, who won the Champions Cup with the red and whites in 1991.
They made children and adults happy with gifts.
"We hope that the help will be continuous. We came today to see what the situation is. I hope that after this the state will stand by them. There are situations where people don't even know, to be told what and how. We will help as much as we can," said Binić.
President of the Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Difficulties "Support me", Ivana Rakić, pointed out that today is of great importance for the center, which faces numerous challenges every day.
"This is too emotional for me. I have to thank the 'Mozzart' Foundation, which was with us even before this. I am very glad that Crvena Zvezda joined this. I have to thank the donation of 3.000 euros that they provided for the work of this center, which is very difficult to function. We have many workers, a large number of children and young people with developmental difficulties, the center is open every day from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m., but my greatest honor is that Belgrade is here with us. We are happy." Because of 'Mozart' and the Red Star, we will hear about the day care center and I am sure that we will get real help and that in the end we will come to help us, because we can't stay and survive in this area, but it means that someone has remembered us.
It indicates that any help is valuable, especially when it is intended for those who cannot fight for better conditions on their own.
"When we help children and young people, who cannot do it, they are grateful to you. They have so much heart, so much love, they are the most wonderful creatures, and they need help. I think that every person who makes a gesture like this has received the greatest medal from God," concludes Rakić.
Frequent actions to help the people of Kosovo
The "Mozzart" Foundation said that the visit to Kosovska Mitrovica was organized at the suggestion of the Serbian champion, who year after year defends his title in the field of humanity:
"This is just one in a series of actions by the Red Star and the 'Mozzart' Foundation to help our people in Kosovo and Metohija. Through the 'Mozzart Supershot' campaign, the red and whites directed funds to the Matić family from Velika Hoča, and dozens of children were welcomed by assistant coach Vujadin Savić at the school in Orahovac. Also, on Vujadin's initiative, we donated funds to the Delije Foundation, which directed them to the Diocese Raško-Prizrenska for new humanitarian actions in this area", they stated from this foundation.
