"On May 1st, we mark six months since the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad. From this moment, our struggle moves into the next phase. We no longer stand only in blockades. This is a step towards radicalization that will enable new forms of pressure," the statement said.
It has been stated that the Law on Strike and the Law on Labor are the foundations of the system of exploitation.
"They protect the government, not the workers. Those laws must be changed - a mass stoppage of work. We are fighting for the right to live without fear. For workers, for students, for all of us. See you on May 1 at 14 noon," the students said.
