We live in a world where we are judged when the right words are spoken and when we do not sin against the truth, Danilo Đurić knows this, he lives, but does not despise, but brings "Silence" to the Kosovo-Metohija cultural scene, which speaks mercilessly, clearly, directly, without wrapping in cellophane and makeup.

Already with the first words "anger, pain and sadness", Danilo Đurić Londanese hints and points to what will be experienced during the entire "Silence", which was recently published on the YouTube channel LRL, with a characteristic, visibly made with a small budget, but with special and great symbolism, video, the editing of which is signed by Darko Dimitrijević.

All three states, "anger, pain and sadness", according to the author's understanding, are caused by "Silence", in which the "smell of war" is strongly felt.

The war that Đurić is waging, both in his own name, and in the name of those suffering from silence, with someone who mocks us, with those who light the fire, but also with the demagogue from television who arranges victims. The smell of war is not only played out towards the external world in Đurić, but also towards the internal one that leads within oneself, which is both present and visible.

Danilo Đurić Londanese does not accept the fact that the world treats man in a cruel, dehumanizing way, he is horrified that people are treated like numbers in a betting shop, alluding and precisely observing that, for the sake of political fights, conflicts, achieving points and particular interests, man as a living being, while there is constant talk about care, is not cared about.

Đurić recognizes the euphemisms that spread everywhere, it doesn't matter, he says, "right, left" and sees that "there is no captain", but that the helm of our tame ship has been taken over by Domanović's leader.

Somewhat naively and clumsily it seems, Đurić performs mathematical calculations. But from the context, it can be understood uncompromisingly (and how can a rapper do otherwise), that he is talking about political leaders who have been running around for decades and who are only capable of fighting two eyes in their head in order to stay where they are, in the positions from which they shape people's destinies. The Londoner pokes a finger in the eye of those who "see evil in their eyes", those who "make boundaries bigger".

Đurić's war continues against the established stereotypes that "you are not a real man because you love life longer" and in that war, as much as in the previous verses he defends humanity and is on its side, somewhat, due to "anger, pain and sadness", but also disappointment and resentment, he risks falling into a trap and dehumanizing himself, saying sarcastically "come on, die now/you have to for the country, for the faith", and all because of those who "determine the measure at the gathering's rejoicing".

Đurić is fed up with patriotism gauges, blood cell counters, because of their insincerity and salon patriotism, many people move away from the noble idea of ​​patriotism, which is a big masked hole where a blood creature is waiting, and into which one must not fall, because if one wants to remain what we are.

No one holds a monopoly, even in private ownership, of the country, religion, nation, or patriotism, which, no matter how much they exploit, throw a stain on those great and holy concepts and principles, they cannot be rendered meaningless.

Đurić explicitly tells us what Aleksandar Baljak said in an aphorism: "I don't have to be a great patriot. There are those who are paid for it.", but implicitly we feel his patriotism, the way he understands and feels it. One feels love for a person, a neighbor, a brother, no matter how much one criticizes him for "keeping silent", and no matter how clearly they divide people "into suitable and dead".

He exceptionally dissects and unmasks the absence of courage and intolerantly shoots the orators in his chin through the lines "where's the dude/he's been silent for years/but we're drooling about drooling". Đurić, but only at first glance, falls into a very inconvenient and very dangerous generalization and joins the rhetoric that does not have an iota of goodwill in the public space, in the line "all Serbs from Kosovo are interesting bitches".

Why at first glance? Namely, those who measure patriotism, who assess who is a Serb, place themselves above the others, therefore, colloquially, they are labeled as "Srbende" and have a pejorative tone. Therefore, Đurić is unequivocal here and talks about those who represent the center of power, and not about the "ordinary people" to which he himself belongs. He talks about "flyers" who change sides overnight, about those who, starting from bowing to Titus, bowed to every other negative authority, not because of the general, because there is no general, but because of a personal idea that we recognize as "personal interest".

On the wings of indignation, Đurić says a lot more, among other things that "Kurti is not our wound/ but silence (...) constantly", and he believes that what he said "is not popular". However, he is wrong. It is more popular than ever, because there is an opinion that "silent people" are to blame for everything, for the situation in which the Serbian people live in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. And that may only be partially true and in certain moments, but on major events, despite the screams and howls, no matter how much they are heard and people raise their voices, nothing epochal can be changed. However, Đurić is hurt by putting everything in the same basket and spreading defeatism by saying that nothing can be changed. It is possible, and what is possible and what is in man's power is necessary.

And there should be, because if we continue to "prefer to choose blue/when decisions are made" due to our deafness and justification because someone is "a child or they threaten him", we will really be in an even tighter "pact with hell".

Without geographical limitation, from Klokot to Peć, with their (in)deeds, while the primary goal is to "put money in your pocket" everything "for Kosmet is a pain in the ass".

At the end, in the chorus, Danilo Đurić Londanese addresses "them" to know their attitude and why they behave the way they do, live the way they live, work the way they do, and through his address he says that he does not want to be a participant in the peddling of individualism that eats away all that which we do not see with our shallowness, enchanted by cheap and apparent, momentary pleasures, which makes us Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija in the 21st century, in the years of trials and anxiety.

Đurić concludes, "Silence, the bottom has no end", but the end for us can be because of the bottom. The latest song of the rapper from Osojan comes to us in difficult moments (and when they were easy), it comes to us as a sincere warning, as a concern, as a thought. It doesn't offer us big solutions and road signs to get out of the labyrinth we're in, but it invites us to wake up, to become conscious, to see, first, where we are, and then where we want to go, all with the intention of staying on our own, to wake up and say that it's over.
