She emphasized that the draft statute will not pass any test in the Constitutional Court, and according to her, it is not in accordance with the Constitution.
"Regarding the meeting we had with the new EU representative, we detailed our observations regarding the draft statute. We agreed that those discussions should continue. Because many of them are at the expert level," she said.
Osmani reminded that they are talking about the draft of the EU statute, which she personally thinks is not in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo or EU norms, Council of Europe standards and the draft statute from 2015, and that she thinks that such a draft would not pass the test at the Constitutional Court.
With the new EU leadership, we hope that the balance will return to the table, as this would help the credibility of the process, Osmani added, after the conference she held with the President of Latvia.
