Iz Government of Serbia it was announced that at today's session the Conclusion was adopted which, as stated, "adopts the measure of payment of one-time financial aid to persons who are in prisons and judicial custody of temporary institutions of self-government in Pristina in Kosovo and Metohija and against whom staged criminal proceedings are being conducted for crimes allegedly committed during the armed conflicts of 1998-1999 against Albanians on the territory of AP Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in other staged criminal proceedings initiated for the purpose of political persecution."
In this way, as added in the announcement, one-time financial assistance in the amount of 300.000 dinars will be provided for all persons who are in prisons and judicial custody units in Kosovo on these grounds, according to the records of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
The payment of this one-time aid will be realized in the shortest possible time, according to the Government of Serbia.
