Nenad Milošević, a neurologist and university professor, has devoted a significant part of his life to scientific work and treating patients, but he also cherishes a great love for art.
As the frontman of the band "Fabrik za ljubav", through music he combines seemingly incompatible worlds - science and art.
The reason for the conversation is the new single, which includes two songs "Nema para" and "Stalo je vreme".
For Milošević, songs are much more than lyrics and melody - they are a call to love, humanity, returning to oneself and finding beauty in everyday life.
As he sings about money, time and love, he simultaneously writes a story about all of us - about our fears, joys and eternal search for meaning in a rapidly changing world.
His philosophy is based on the idea that art should be authentic and universal, freed from temporal and spatial-cultural frameworks.
"I don't like songs to be just a reflection of this climate or this time." No. Then I won't write, then I won't play. If I play only for this area or if it's just my cry, then it's not necessary, because it's not enough," says Milošević.
His work in the "Factory for Love" is focused on creating an authentic rock sound, which, in his opinion, is the key to preserving the true form of rock and roll, and not just blindly following trends. He believes that, through hard work and dedication, his band will become recognized and appreciated.
He sees exhilaration as the most important component in his work, whether it's medicine or music.
"If you have a feeling of elation in the work you do, which does not let you fall asleep, and which makes you wake up as soon as possible and get down to work immediately to continue where you left off, it means that you are in the right place," he says. Milosevic.
Why "Factory for Love" and not "Factory of Love"? Can medicine be subsumed under art? What does symmetry and rhyme have to do with each other? When he says medicine, what exactly does he mean? And when the music says? How do you "hunt" for time that isn't there? How to be "directors" and "managers"... Find out the answers in our new podcast.
