The "Small Studio" that functions as part of the Private Cultural Center "Aquarius" in Kosovska Mitrovica is a space where children from the north of Kosovo learn to express themselves in a creative way through informal education.

The continuous change of generations, "infected" by the love for art, is the peculiarity of the "Small Atelier".

The academic painter, Miljana Dunđerin, under whose brush the "Small Atelier" operates, points out that informal education workshops are rare in smaller communities, but that they are of essential importance for the development of creativity in children.

He emphasizes that the "Small Atelier" does not only create artistic talents, but also citizens with a libertarian spirit, and unity is what unites them.

The significant success of "Malig Atelier" is also reflected in the support and trust of parents.

Dunjerin points out that it is crucial for parents to listen to their children and support their talents. He tells them to create corners of freedom for their children, where they can express their creativity, emphasizing that even a small space can be of great importance for the development of a child's uniqueness.

"The message to parents is to give the child their talent and their unusualness and specificity, not to stifle them because of some general forms. If someone is going to stain your wall, if your armchair is going to get stained, create a corner. Find a pantry, which you normally use for things you don't need, and use it to make a creative room for them. Let them in, they don't need teachers or anything. Buy them crayons and let those two square meters be theirs, so they can do what they want there. It is ideal to create that corner of freedom for the child where he can show his creativity", underlines Miljana Dunđerin.
